Delay in production:

Unfortunately due to difficulties in production, we have to push delivery of our pre-ordered e-bikes into the 1st quarter of 2023.

In previous productions with our factory in Thailand, we have been dealing with production issues varying from Software issues to unacceptable assembly quality, painting issues, and lacking packaging skills which resulted in damaged bikes during transfers.

Although we have fixed all the above-mentioned issues it continues to affect our relationship as they clearly did not respect our business and did not have the sense of quality internally we expect from any supplier.

Just recently we have been informed by our production in Thailand they will not be able to accommodate our production until later this year due to pressure on production capacity – even though they promised differently before the campaign.

This has all led to a tough decision of moving our production away from Asia (Thailand) to Europe (Poland) for this production.
We expected to move to our new facilities in Poland starting next year in order to have a competent bike factory that we highly believe can carry our production to a higher level with no delays or complications as we’ve experienced earlier.

Due to the fact that we need to change the assembly line and get everything sorted at our new production facility, we will need to delay the arrival of the bikes until the first quarter of 2023,

We’re trying to see this unfortunate decision in the most positive way possible, even though we know that this may change the plans for some of you.

The first positive we can think off is that we will be closer to the production: We will be able to visit our new factory in only hours from Copenhagen which means that we will be able to be present in all scenarios going from production planning to the quality control at the final product regardless of covid-19 related issues.

We’ll furthermore have partners that we feel much more confident in and believe can deliver better quality bikes to us, and thereby our highly appreciated customers.

We’ll also have the possibility to stamp our bikes with “built In Europe” which is proof of sustainable quality that most companies can’t compete with.
